Bluecoins requires minimum permission requirements from your phone. Also, some of the needed permissions are not ON by default, and you will need to provide the necessary permissions. For example, when you decide you want to take photos to attach to the app, Bluecoins will notify you that you need to grant permission to access the Camera for that functionality to perform properly. You can disable access for these permissions in Settings.
Here are the list of permissions Bluecoins needs for it’s functionalities:
- Camera – required for taking photos of bills, receipts or other related images that can be attached to transactions

- SMS – required if you enable SMS banking notification in Settings. Read more here: www.bluecoinsapp.com/sms/
- Storage – required for data backup purposes
- Alarm – required for alarm notification and the schedule backups
- Internet/Network– required for cloud syncing and backup, and downloading currency conversion rate
- Storage– required for data backup purposes
- Fingerprint hardware– required for fingerprint unlock if PIN is enabled in Settings
