New Frequency Options and Transaction Entry Changes

This latest update (v404) bring improvements to the transaction entry as well as additional frequency controls to the chart reports.

First off, the new transaction screen will now allow you to enter amount values using your default keyboard’s  numpad. Users will still have the ability to use the built-in calculator by simply pressing the calculator icon to the right (or left for our Arabic friends) of the amount. See screenshots below. Notice the attachment icon has been updated to use a more visible blue camera icon, as I have been getting a lot of questions to requests to add attachments to transactions. It was there, but apparently, the grey clip icon we have today wasn’t communicating well enough.

The next update involves the currency selector. Currently, Bluecoins supports more or less 500 currencies, so scrolling and searching for the currency you need is a pain. This update will now show the most frequently used currencies at the top of the list. See screenshots below:

The chart reports have added quarterly and annual frequencies, which is especially useful when you are looking across a field of data spread across several years. Get the big picture? Screenshots below:

I’ve left out a few other small UI changes, but hopefully you like the update. In addition, there is also a LOT of changes under the hood to improve on performance and stability. If you ever run into any issue with this update, feel free to drop a comment or an email.

Enjoy the latest updates, and as always, please support the app by leaving us a 5 star rating on the Playstore.
